Everton manager Frank Lampard has paid tribute to Egyptian international Mohamed Salah, confirming that he was the cause of Liverpool's victory over the Toffees in the Merseyside derby yesterday.
Liverpool won the Robertson and Origi double, after Mohamed Salah created the first goal for the Scot, an hour after the goalless draw.

Speaking to the official website, Lampard said: "We faced Liverpool as it should have been, they couldn't reach our goal in the first half, and we were the closest to scoring and taking the initiative.
"With Liverpool you can't leave them for a moment and unfortunately that's what happened in Robertson's first goal that opened the game.
"Thanks to the nature and ingenuity of Mohamed Salah, he made the first goal and they were able to score the second after that, because they are naturally an aggressive team and exert pressure everywhere,"he said.
"I can only face Liverpool in this way, and we were the best over the course of an hour of play, before Mohamed Salah created Robertson's goal.
